Terminology:

Safe Zone: The maximum area it is safe to display vital details and information like text or logos. Anything beyond this area leads into the bleed zone which is detailed below.

Bleed Zone: This area is where the image extends from the edge of the mat and beyond. No vital information should be including in this area as it may be distorted or missing entirely in the final print. Most artists will simply extend their background which results in a seamless look for our printing process.

Note: On Mats larger the our playmats and deskmats we suggest increasing the bleed zone from .5" to 1".

Acronyms

NS = Non-stitched
BS = Black Stitched
WS = White Stitched

Custom 24" x 14" Playmat

Size & Stitching: 

• Standard Playmat (non-stitched): 24” x 14” inches and is 1/16th thick.
• Black Stitched Edging: 24” x 14”x 1/8” thick. - Most Popular
• White Stitched Edging: 24” x 14”x 1/8” thick.
• This allows the image to print on top of the stitching.

Custom Image Information:

• The printable area of the Playmat is 24.5" x 14.5"
• The safe zone of the Playmat is 23.5" x 13.5"
• Image should be 300 dpi or a minimum of 150 dpi.

Custom 32" x 14" Deskmat

Size & Stitching: 

• Standard Deskmat: 32” x 14” inches and is 1/16" thick.
• Black Stitched Edging: 32” x 14”x 1/8” thick.

Custom Image Information:

• The printable area of the Deskmat is 32.5" x 14.5"
• The safe zone of the Deskmat is 31.5" x 13.5"
• Image should be 300 dpi or a minimum of 150 dpi.
